In May 2022 we celebrated the Memory Tree's 5th birthday. How time has flown! It was great to see so many past and present members, volunteers and their families. We also had muscial entertainment from the Old Peculiars and plenty of cake. It was great to hear from people how the Memory Tree has made a difference to their lives over the years.

On 22 August 2021, some of our volunteers attended Burley Festival Community Event, in Grange Park. Given the mixed weather, we had a welcome amount of interest from people who came to find out more about the Burley Dementia Action Group and the Memory Tree. Thank you to everyone who attended on the day! |
In February 2020, Marmalade, the therapeutic cat, made his first appearance at the Memory Tree, and received a very warm welcome from all the members. He purrs, he meows, and rolls on to his back as you stroke him, or brush his fur. He'll be attending many more of our Memory Tree sessions! |
